Terms of Service
Last updated: October 8, 2026
1. Using Bitcrush
Bitcrush is a place to join communities, share content and connect with other people. By agreeing to these terms, you agree to use the service responsibly and follow applicable laws and the rules of the communities you join.
2. Your account
Use your own email address or Google account and keep your credentials secure. Do not impersonate other people, misrepresent your identity or share access to someone else’s account. You are responsible for the content and activity associated with your account.
3. Content and community conduct
Do not post threats, harassment, hate speech, scams, malware, spam, private information without permission, or content you do not have the right to share. Respect other members and intellectual property rights. Each community may set additional rules.
4. Your content
You retain your rights in the content you create. By posting it, you give Bitcrush permission to store, display and share it within the service as needed to provide its features. Public profiles, communities, posts and comments can be viewed by other visitors. You can edit or remove your content through the available controls.
5. Moderation
Community moderators and site administrators may review reports, remove public content and restrict accounts that violate these terms. Verified status, roles and badges are assigned by administrators. They do not guarantee the accuracy of a member’s content. Report problematic content using the report button on a post.
6. Connected services
Connecting a third-party service is optional and subject to that service’s own terms. When you enable Spotify listening activity, your current track and artist are visible on your public profile. You can stop sharing or disconnect in Settings → Connect. Bitcrush does not play or redistribute Spotify audio.
7. Privacy
Private messages are accessible to their participants; personal bookmarks and settings are restricted to their account owner. Firebase provides authentication and data storage, and Cloudinary stores uploaded images. Disconnecting a service removes its connection in Bitcrush; permissions can also be revoked in the provider’s account settings.
8. Service changes
Features may change or be temporarily unavailable. We may update these terms and identify the latest version on this page. These terms do not limit rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Contact
Contact Bitcrush’s owner, mxpandx, through the member directory and private messages for questions about these terms or moderation.
